Choose from six different instruments for your training needs. "Better Ears" provides an Acoustic Grand piano, Bright Acoustic Piano, Electric Grand Piano, Drawbar Organ, Nylon Acoustic Guitar, and Steel Acoustic Guitar.

CUSTOMIZABLE SOUNDS WITH SOUNDFONTS

If desired, you can expand "Better Ears" with your own sounds through the use of SoundFonts (.sf2).

KEYBOARD AND FRETBOARD

A virtual keyboard and virtual guitar fretboard are included in "Better Ears." You can choose to enter notes using either.

VOICE OR INSTRUMENT ANSWERING

Thanks to the integrated pitch detection, "Better Ears" allows you to answer questions using your voice or a real instrument. Simply play the individual tones on your instrument or sing them when the microphone button illuminates red.

FOUR PRESET LEVELS

"Better Ears" comes equipped with four preset levels:

UNLIMITED CUSTOM LEVELS

DEVICE SYNCING

"Better Ears" enables synchronization between your Mac and iOS devices. You can select what to sync: your custom levels, statistics, settings, or all of the above.

MIDI SUPPORT

Including MIDI support, "Better Ears" allows you to route sound through an external MIDI device, making it compatible with your existing MIDI master keyboard or sound module. You can even control the app using a connected keyboard.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS WITH STATISTICS

"Better Ears" keeps track of your progress for each exercise, providing detailed statistics on your correct and incorrect answers.

WIKIPEDIA INTEGRATION

"Better Ears" integrates with Wikipedia by displaying relevant articles for each exercise. If a specific article is unavailable, another appropriate article will be shown.
